Cole’s our neighbor, and he’s with us every day.

We deserve a Saint Paul where neighbors are connected, corporate landlords are held accountable, and families thrive.

I’ll bring my experiences as a parent, a renter, and public health professional to fight the opioid crisis with compassion, protect our most vulnerable, and celebrate the everyday heroes who keep our ward strong.

My vision for Ward 4 is clear:

We need safer neighborhoods anchored by strong connections among neighbors—whether they rent, own homes, or are simply passing through. That starts with the basics, like fixing broken streetlights in our parks and trails, but it also means tackling corporate landlords who profit off our community without caring for our small businesses or residents.

I’m no stranger to standing up for these issues: in the Hamline-Midway Coalition, I’ve demanded accountability from both the United Village project and the Snelling Avenue CVS for the trash and blight they brought to our neighborhood, brought leaders from across the county together to talk about safety, and as an organization we’ve organized community-wide trash cleanups and adopted light rail stops to remove dirty needles and debris.

Above all: I’m working with all of my neighbors to get it done.

As a public health professional,

I bring firsthand experience to the table when it comes to the opioid epidemic—an issue that has hit our neighborhood particularly hard. Having lost my mother to an over-prescription of fentanyl as a teenager to then be raised up with my police officer father, I’ve seen the opioid crisis from all sides.

Words alone won’t fix the relentless overdoses plaguing Ward 4; we need a better plan, from who responds to an overdose to how we expand housing and recovery services. Reinforcing our coalitions of leaders and inspiring everyday neighbors to get involved is only the beginning of what I’ll start on day one.

Growing up gave me insights into how first responders handle crises, but it also showed me where gaps in care exist. I believe in expanding our city’s response to homelessness, ensuring that everyone receives the services they need. A healthy community demands we treat our most vulnerable neighbors with compassion, not criminalization.

Our kids will thrive here!

I’m not just fighting for Saint Paul as a neighbor, but also as a parent who wants our children to thrive. This requires clean, safe parks and recreation centers that are fully funded—and paying the people who maintain them a living wage. Whether you’re renting or owning, you deserve to be here.

I will work to fully fund our libraries so every child can grow up with their nose in a book - while making sure everyone is safe while enjoying our public spaces.

What inspires me is simple: I want a community that families like mine can call home. My daughter is my constant partner in community work, whether we’re picking up trash or handing out hand-warmers to our unhoused neighbors.

She’s growing up learning that every person deserves dignity, and that Ward 4 can be a community where we all look out for one another.

There’s no room for fear here.

St. Paul should stand strong against any overreach that threatens our neighbors—whether it’s attempts to shut down food shelves or deport our families. We must celebrate the everyday heroes who keep our trains and parks running and care for our sick.

It’s not enough to stand strong: who we stand with is just as important. As your councilor, I’ll continue to stand by our queer and trans neighbors as they brave the tempests of our time. I’ll continue to be a voice for our unhoused neighbors who simply want a place to call their own. I’ll defend the rights of workers to organize and bargain for their share at the table. And I can say this because I’ve been doing it already, right here in our city - a city made of neighbors like you and me.

When I’m elected to City Council, I will be the voice that shines a spotlight on all of our heroes, carries the concerns of our residents, and fights to keep Saint Paul the greatest place to live in Minnesota. I’ll be doing it for our neighbors, with our neighbors.
